Bulk actions are available across all envelope types, including Standard, Egypt ACI, and eBL, with additional actions specifically for eBL envelopes; please explore this article for more information.
Tip
Utilising bulk actions can save you a significant amount of time.
In this article, we will showcase the bulk actions feature using the Standard envelope, so some details may differ when using other envelope types. There are two types of bulk actions available: Other Actions and Individual Actions. The individual actions will be displayed once all the envelopes are properly equipped, including the Seal option, followed by the Transfer option.
Info
When selecting multiple envelopes from the Inbox folder, users should also have the option to Archive these envelopes, provided they are in the correct (final) status, and create a New draft that consolidates all documents from the selected envelopes into a single envelope as attachments.
Step-by-step guide for executing bulk actions on envelopes:
1
Preparing envelopes for bulk actions
1. Open the draft folder.
2. & 3. Mark the envelopes on which you want to perform bulk actions with a check mark.
4. Select other actions: Click on the Other actions button and choose the action you want to perform on all selected envelopes:
-
-
Set recipient: For the Egypt ACI envelope and certain actions in the eBL envelope, the recipient is already preset.
-
Set message: You can set a message on all selected envelopes. If the message has already been filled in before, it will be rewritten.
Tip
You can also clear the message. If you have already entered text in your message field, you can remove it from all selected envelopes. Additionally, you can use the Delete action, which removes the selected envelopes.
Click on the Seal button.
After sealing the envelopes, you will be able to transfer all the selected envelopes.
Warning
If you do not see the Seal button and see a red exclamation mark (!) next to the document attachment, hover the mouse over it to view the error preventing you from continuing with sealing the envelopes.
If the error ‘Document type is missing’ is displayed, you need to open the selected envelopes and choose the document type for each attachment in every envelope. After setting the document type, a new bulk action will become available: Seal.
In some cases the Seal button is available, but clicking it triggers a pop-up error message. You can view the error by hovering over the (!) icon on the envelope. The most common error relates to the ACID number already existing, meaning a sealed envelope with that ACID number is already in place, so no duplicate is necessary and should be managed accordingly.
Info
You will also be able to Unseal all the selected envelopes.
1. After the envelope is sealed, click on the green Transfer button.
You will see an overview of all envelopes, including details such as the recipient, the documents contained within the envelope, the message, and the price information.
Tip
Hovering the mouse over the price of each envelope will display the pricing for each document included in the envelope.
2. You can then proceed to send the envelope by clicking on the green Next button.
Tip
To save time, you can choose to skip this step when sending envelopes. However, please note that if the pay to collect option is possible to select, this step will still be presented, even if you have chosen to skip it. You can modify this setting at any time in the
Preferences section.
3. In the next step, prepare your blockchain key, and then click on the Sign and Transfer button. To perform this action follow this guide.
Success
After sending the envelope, you will briefly see its status in the bottom right corner. If the envelope is successfully sent, a green checkmark will appear next to it, and the message will disappear after a few seconds. You can always check your Sent folder to review the sent envelopes.
