Most ACI filings require the following documents:
1Bill of Lading Copy or Air WayBill Copy
Bill of Lading Copy (BLC) is used for sea freight shipments and Air WayBill Copy (AWBC) is used for air freight shipments. They can be provided as an XLS/XLSX (Microsoft Excel) spreadsheet file (no special structure is defined). It is completely fine to upload the BLC file as a PDF as well.
2Packing list
Packing list (PL) must be uploaded in PDF format.
3Commercial invoice in PDF format
A commercial invoice (INV) must include tax/VAT ID for both importer and exporter. It must match with data entered in NAFEZA by the importer.
4Commercial invoice in a structured format
Commercial invoice in a structured format (INV) must be in a NAFEZA-specified XML or Excel (XLS/XLSX) format (INV). More information on how to create a commercial invoice in a structured format can be found here.
5Certificate of origin
Certificate of origin (COO) must be uploaded in PDF format.
Other documents that might also be required
Depending on shipment/cargo, other documents might be required, such as other certificates (e.g. phytosanitary certificate, etc.) and other documents from the list below. You cannot send any other document type in the ACI envelope.
