When is the ACI filing deadline for exporters?

As answered in the FAQ on the official NAFEZA website, the exporter should submit their ACI filing when they have all the documents ready (when they are issued). There is no hard deadline or penalty for late filing.

The idea is that the exporter files the ACI as soon as the finalized documents are available in order to capitalize on the faster digital process. 

Warning

If you send the ACI envelope only a few hours before the cargo arrives, your importer will not reap the benefits of the new system (green line and immediate cargo release).
